Captain ILL is a bit outraged at this claim, because he happens to be close personal friends with the
Wonder Twins, Zan and Jayna, who were psychic twins long before these upstarts came along. In fact, Captain ILL used to date J
ayna, but her habit of wearing purple tights all the time threatened to reveal his secret identity, plus
Gleek the space monkey tried even Captain ILL's legendary patience. That was a long time ago though, and now they all live on a
farm somewhere, where Jan's power to turn into a rainstorm comes in very handy.

I hate to say this, in case the wonder twins read your blog, but I always thought they had rather lame super powers. And i just read that the phrase "wonder twins activate!!!" wasn't even a necessary part of the transformation! How can that be? That was the best part...
I made a quick call to get an answer to Groovelily's rhetorical question. It turns out that Zan and Jayna also realized that just turning into water and animals was a bit weak, so they came up with the "Wonder Twin powers activate!!!" gimmick to jazz it up a bit.
Poor sweet Jayna...if she had only known! If she had been willing to give up the tights and ditch the monkey she might have become Mrs. Captain ILL! Instead, she's stuck on a farm with a wet brother and monkey. I'm guessing a wet monkey smells just as bad (or worse) than a wet dog.
