Interlibrary Loan of the day
Unlike Milo Bloom, Captain ILL never had a boyhood crush on Betty Crocker, but he sure was enamored of her Cinnamon Streusel Coffee Cake (page 38). Paging briefly through this book (Betty Crocker's Bisquick Cookbook) he sees all sorts of delicious delights. Like Hot Dogs 'n' Crescents (page 278) or Personalized Peanut Butter Pancakes (page 272). There's even a recipe for plain old biscuits (page 94). Obviously, the Captain is going to have to stop on the way home and pick up a box of Bisquick.

When i was a little groovelily, we used to use bisquick all the time. we usually made bisquits. and if we were lucky, we got to add a little shredded cheddar cheese. We always made ours free form... never rolled them out. Loved those crispy little edges. And, the cool think bout bisquick, you make as much as you need, so no leftovers! Groovy people hate leftovers.
Very nice. BowlingJoe has come to appreciate cooking and cookbooks over the years. Particularly cookbooks that have lots of spicy peppers as ingredients. I'm always trying to get Bowlingwidow to yank new Mexican and Southwest cookbooks from the Sno-Isle assembly line and bring them home. But, of course, being the honest and dedicated employee that she is, that would never happen.
One of the first things Bowlingwidow bought for me in college was a Betty Crocker cookbook. I still have it and can make a pretty mean spaghetti-cheese pie referencing that stain covered recipe page.
I wish I was as groovy as Groovelily, so I wouldn't have to eat leftovers all the time!
That was a very nice gift Bowlingwidow gave you Bowlingjoe, as well as a pretty clear hint.
