The mystery ILL from March 31st has finally been identified! After a bit of cajoling, Captain ILL got the Mitchell Public Library to admit that they mailed us an empty bag. They were sufficiently chastised that they immediately agreed to attempt a second mailing of the book: His Only Obsession. If there are any further developments you can be sure I will post them here.

What exactly do you mean by 'cajoling'? To get someone to admit to mailing an empty envelope is awesome... Captain ILL should be in labor negotiation.
I am embaressed to say but this is one of my favorite books the tension in the book is overwhelming if you don't mind will I be able to borrow it.
Jeez, the man on the cover of the book is incredible. Wow. Someone at the Mitchell Public Library was probably too busy drooling to get the book into the bag.
Mitchell is quite cold. The first snow lays around waiting for the last snow. My idea, is that they were to frozen to move the book to the bag. Anyplace where you have to plug your car in at night to keep it warm is too cold for thinking or moving in.
The Corn Palace is way cool. They use new indian corn each year. Of course now days, that would be pretty expensive. Along with the Corn Palace, once must see Wall Drug, Mt. Rushmore, and Deadwood.
